Chip is a solid, pointing and retrieving boy. He is a pro-trained hunter, kennel and crate trained, force fetched, and E-collar conditioned. He is a happy house dog, and aims to please his owner. He has had two seasons  of hunting under him, and loves his job! Chip is an really mellow dog, has lots of drive in the field, but is calm and chill at home. He hangs out with us everywhere we are, and doesnt try to roam at all. Sadly, his owner passed away this year, and Chip lost his best friend and hunting buddy. Chip was raised in a single owner home, and though excellent around older kids and adults, does NOT do well around small children. He is really mellow around all our females, but doesnt do well around our boys as of yet either. He was the alpha male in his prior home with another male hunting lab, and we are working on his socialization daily. He would do well in a hunting home with pre-teens to teenagers and adults, with tons of affection! He would love to be a lap dog, thinks going anywhere is awesome, and is a retrieving fool. He weighs in at around 85pds, and is in excellent condition. Call if interested in a great hunter and full time partner. Chip is ready to start hunting again soon.
